Designed for Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape. The GSO-5.3 is a tough knife that can handle any situation you may find yourself in. This knife is nearly identical to our popular GSO-4.7 but has a little extra length due to the added finger choil.

As a standard, all of our blades are finished in house with our signature satin stonewash. We utilize industry leading steels and heat treat protocols to ensure the highest level of performance and durability. The handles are microtextured for added grip. Our custom fasteners are precision machined from high quality stainless steel. Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the molle compatible kydex belt clip. A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

CPM MagnaCut is an innovative new stainless steel from Crucible. It has an excellent combination of toughness and wear resistance, along with improved corrosion resistance. Our CPM MagnaCut blades are expertly heat treated to 62.5 HRC. Here is the CPM MagnaCut Data Sheet.

CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for.  Check out the CPM-3V Data Sheet
