The all new SURVIVE! GSO-3 was designed for those who want a lot of usability in a very lightweight and compact package. This design is ideally suited for users with smaller hands but the handle is still generous enough to enjoy a full four finger grip with even a medium to large sized hand. The GSO-3 features a skeletonized tang under its handles. Whether you need a compact fixed blade for your B.O.B. set up or just need something more robust than a folder, consider the GSO-3 for your next adventure.

The Torx T-25 style fasteners used for our smaller knives are produced from high quality stainless steel.  Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the molle compatible kydex belt clip.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

CPM-S90V is a martensitic stainless steel with exceptional edge holding. For more details, check out the CPM-S90V Data Sheet.

CPM MagnaCut is an innovative new stainless steel from Crucible.  It has an excellent combination of toughness and wear resistance, along with improved corrosion resistance.  Here is the CPM MagnaCut Data Sheet.

CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for.  Check out the CPM-3V Data Sheet.

Böhler K890 is a 3rd generation microclean material and is the toughest powder metallurgy grade that Bohler offers. This cold work tool steel is extremely high performing, with outstanding toughness, fatigue resistance, and compressive strength, making it a great option for a hard use knife of any size. The homogenous microstructure and fine carbide size of this high quality steel ensures good edge holding and stability under the most demanding circumstances. For more info, here is the Böhler K890 Data Sheet.
