Based on the previous GSO-4.1 but with refinements to ergonomics and a more generous handle length, the SURVIVE! GSO-4 is a lightweight, highly versatile knife, capable of tackling most any cutting chore with ease. One of our smaller full sized fixed blades, the GSO-4 provides outstanding comfort, strength and utility in a package that won't weigh you down.

Our Torx T-25 style fasteners are produced from high quality stainless steel.  Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the molle compatible kydex belt clip.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for.  Check out the CPM-3V Data Sheet.

CPM MagnaCut is an innovative new stainless steel from Crucible.  It has an excellent combination of toughness and wear resistance, along with improved corrosion resistance.  Here is the CPM MagnaCut Data Sheet.
