The Vendetta 5.5", or V-5.5 features aggressively functional styling and the highest quality materials possible, for a fighting style knife that won't let you down.  The ergonomic handles and very pronounced guard provide excellent retention in a variety of positions, to keep your grip confident and on target during high stress situations. The attractive radius machined spine provides additional security, giving you better axial control over the knife, while being subtle enough to not create hot spots.  A generous finger choil compliments the blade of the V-5.5 and provides an extra margin of safety against hand slippage during stress or weather induced situations where fine motor skills may be reduced. Taking a look at the pommel, you'll find a low profile glass/skull breaker feature tucked neatly out of the way until you need it. Although it will not be sharpened, the first production run of the V-5.5 also features a fully sharpenable swedge grind, in the event your situation calls for more slashing/penetration potential.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for.  Check out the CPM-3V Data Sheet

CruForge V is a high performance carbon steel option. This steel is very tough and the small amounts of chromium and vanadium in the alloy result in increased edge holding. This steel is susceptible to rust and corrosion, which is why we offer these blades with a Cerakote finish. Check out the CruForge V data sheet.
