 The GSO-4.5 Standard variant: If you like the shape of GSO-4.5 Bushcraft but have heavier use in mind, the Standard variant is for you. This blade features thicker .150" blade stock and robust grind geometry that is better suited for more abusive cutting chores.

Our high quality Torx T-25 style fasteners are precision machined from 17-4PH stainless steel.  Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the kydex clip. The spine is sharp enough for use with most ferro rods.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

Böhler K890 is a 3rd generation microclean material and is the toughest powder metallurgy grade that Bohler offers. This cold work tool steel is extremely high performing, with outstanding toughness, fatigue resistance, and compressive strength, making it a great option for a hard use knife of any size. The homogenous microstructure and fine carbide size of this high quality steel ensures good edge holding and stability under the most demanding circumstances. The best all around knife period

I have one of the earliest versions and the limited no gimping run. Even the early example is bullet proof and they have only improved and pushed themselves as a company.. I have purchased many..maybe that's understating it. I have yet to find another that if I can take only one knife and God forbid my life depended on it... This is the knife

Perfection

Perfect fine all round bushcraft knife. Tough, high hardness blade, great edge retention, perfect handle in all hand positions, The edge angle is perfect and flawless. Thickness behind the edge is spot on, unparalleled feature in my experience. No recurve on straight part blade. I actually am such a critical user after years n years outdoor but actually what to write which does not sound cliche...: In short; it is perfect!

Amazing Attention to Detail!

I own two GSO 4.5s, one Standard in Tungsten and one Bushcraft in Titanium. I also own knives from all the big name manufacturers and a couple custom pieces. These 4.5s are flawless in fit and finish and you can see and feel the quality especially when compared to others. Thank you for your attention to detail! I will be a returning customer.
