- Necker II (Starting Production Soon)
Product Description
The Necker II is a twist on our original Necker knife. The main difference is the handle but the blade length is also longer on the Necker II. Both knives are designed as lightweight, easy carry options. Comes with ball chain, giving you the option to carry it discretely around your neck.
A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:
CPM-20CV is a very high quality martensitic stainless steel, with outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent edge holding. CPM-20CV does lack the impact toughness of CPM-3V but being made with the CPM process, this steel is still very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage. Consider CPM-20CV for a very low maintenance, all weather cutting tool. Here is the CPM-20CV Data Sheet.

Great little Knife!!!
Posted by Shawn on May 22nd 2015
I bought a Necker II because I figured it would be a fun little woods knife. I have used it plenty of times and it works great. I decided to write a review after my daughter loved it because I shaved her arm. 11 years old, wants a necker and thought it was great that I shaved her arm. More then a handful of times used in the woods and it's still shaving sharp. I can't wait(but will) for my 3.5 and 4.1. Eventually I'll get a 5.1 and possibly more but I'll wait for these two to arrive first.

Great Replacement For Folders
Posted by Unknown on Feb 18th 2015
I bought the Necker II because it was small enough to replace my Benchmade Folding Knife. Folding knives are unreliable outdoors and cannot take hard use. This knife can and stays sharp without worrying it will fail or fall apart. The steel is easy to sharpen on any sharpening system. The sheath is good. It requires two hands to put the knife in because it has to go in at a certain angle or it get's stuck.

Outstanding EDC
Posted by Greg on Jan 20th 2015
I bought the Necker II because I wanted a really compact fixed blade for use around the house and at work. The handle is more comfortable than any folding knife that I own, while the finger ring gives a very secure grip. I was impressed with the sharpness out of the box, but even more impressed with the edge holding ability of the steel. I used the knife to break down about 30 large cardboard boxes from refrigerators and other appliances. An occasional stropping on leather kept the blade in top condition. When I could no longer shave the hair on my arm, I touched up the blade on a Spyderco Sharpmaker, being very careful to take full strokes over the length of the blade. After 10 minutes, the blade was shaving sharp again. The Kydex sheath is very convenient and keeps the knife handy on my belt. I especially appreciate the low profile appearance, combined with very strong one-piece construction. I will definitely get one of the larger GSO models for outdoor use.
