The all new SURVIVE! GSO-3 was designed for those who want a lot of usability in a very lightweight and compact package. This design is ideally suited for users with smaller hands but the handle is still generous enough to enjoy a full four finger grip with even a medium to large sized hand. The GSO-3 features a skeletonized tang under its handles. The Torx T-25 style fasteners used for our smaller knives are produced from high quality stainless steel. Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the molle compatible kydex belt clip.

The GSO-3 S90V and CPM-3V blades are heading into finishing. CPM Magnacut and Böhler K890 blades are getting cut and will be heading to heat treating soon. For the most up to date information check our Production Schedule page. 

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

Böhler K890 is a 3rd generation microclean material and is the toughest powder metallurgy grade that Bohler offers. This cold work tool steel is extremely high performing, with outstanding toughness, fatigue resistance, and compressive strength, making it a great option for a hard use knife of any size. The homogenous microstructure and fine carbide size of this high quality steel ensures good edge holding and stability under the most demanding circumstances.
