SK-6 (Starting Production Soon)
In order to gauge genuine interest in the SK Series we are temporarily offering a preorder on those models that are up next to start production. The SK-6 is currently available for preorder until July 22nd, with a $25 non-refundable deposit. Because there will be a good bit of admin work involved in contacting individuals for final payment information, we are also offering folks a 5% discount if they pay the full amount in advance.
The SK-6 is modeled after the newest version of the GSO-6. While the blade profile has remained roughly the same as the old spec GSO-6, we've lengthened and recontoured the handle a bit to improve comfort and usability over a wider range of users.
The SURVIVE! SK-6 is designed for those who like the size of the GSO-5.1 but don't prefer a finger choil. Like the GSO-5.1, it is a full sized medium utility knife. The robust, well balanced design of this tool allows you to tackle a wide variety of tasks with relative ease. The very manageable size and weight of the SK-6 is solid and confident in your hand, without being heavy or feeling bulky.
Our high quality Torx T-25 style fasteners are precision machined from 416 stainless steel. Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the kydex clip.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:
CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for. Check out the CPM-3V Data Sheet.
SURVIVE! proudly supports Peters' Heat Treating for all of our heat treating needs.
