The GSO-2.7 materials have been completed and existing orders are being fulfilled.  Once those orders have shipped remaining knives will be available for regular ordering.  As always, please keep an eye on the Production Schedule for regular updates.

The SURVIVE! GSO-2.7 is a new addition to the SURVIVE! line up. Even smaller than the GSO-3.5, the GSO-2.7 was designed for those who enjoy a very lightweight and compact blade. This design is ideally suited for users with smaller hands but the handle is still long enough to enjoy a full "four finger" grip with even a medium sized hand. The GSO-2.7 features a skeletonized tang under its handles. Whether you need a compact fixed blade for your B.O.B. set up or just need something more robust than a folder, consider the GSO-2.7 for your next adventure.

Our high quality Torx T-25 style fasteners are precision machined from 416 stainless steel.  Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the kydex clip.  The peened finish on the blade provides extra durability and is non-reflective.  The spine is sharp enough for use with most ferro rods.

Disclaimer:
- You are not required to purchase a kydex sheath with your order but it is HIGHLY recommended that you do so.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

CPM-20CV is a very high quality martensitic stainless steel, with outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent edge holding. CPM-20CV does lack the impact toughness of CPM-3V but being made with the CPM process, this steel is still very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage. Consider CPM-20CV for a very low maintenance, all weather cutting tool.  Here is the CPM-20CV Data Sheet.

Outstanding Knife

Weight on my scale is 3.6 oz. The handle is just under 4 inches. I wear size large gloves so I normally don't buy fixed blade knives with handles under 4 inches, but I wanted to try this knife. What a surprise! The ergonomics are nothing less than outstanding for my hand. The best I have ever felt. I will unquestionably use this knife as a primary blade, depending on the circumstances. Mine came scary sharp. Thirty seconds on the red strop, and the edge came up to my personal standard of vertically cutting free hanging phone book paper smoothly. The only other knife company that has achieved that for me is True Saber. Most knives don't even come close. It took fifteen months to get this knife, but for me it was worth the wait. When the knife finally came, the quality and craftsmanship were so high I understood the wait. This is the best knife in its class I have ever encountered, and I was not expecting that.

2.7

Wow!!!! Quality craftsmanship at its finest!! Since ordering this on a presale order I had picked up a few knives similar in this size to see which one (s) would work for me. I had an Esee Candiru, Tops Ferret and a Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter (of which is the only one I have of the 3), but the 2.7 has a fuller grip to hold better and longer cutting chores, IMO. I ordered the black linen and fasteners and this is one sweet looking lil companion :) Received it just in time for my first ever deer hunt next month and am looking forward to using it!!! Survive, thank you guys and gal for a terrific product and it was an honor to support a small USA company!!!!!
